Schalke- Leverkusen: over 2.5 @ 1.80 !! 2 units!!

this was always an offensive game and it will probably be again.
overall Schalke is off a solid start in the season and looked very dangerous on offense so far in every game. they played 2-2 at champ Stuttgart, followed by a 4-1 over Dortmund and a 1-1 at WOlfsburg (which they should have won).
They try to dominate at home and will do the same today. Also, not like last season, they struggle a bit on defense so far, which should give high powering Leverkusen offense a chance here.
Leverkusen is also known to be offensive minded, also in away game. That s important here as "playing with Schalke" will lead to an open game and many scoring chances.
Although they did not score in first 2 games this season, they had plenty of scorng chances. But the scoring slump was broken in last weeks 3-0 win over Karslruhe, so more expected of that today.
To underline how this game can go some history:
Last year Leverkusen won 1-0 but only due to a big efford of Leverkusen s goalie, which still everybody is talking about.SHould have been more like a 4-5 goal game.
the five games before that at Schalke ended: 7-4 !!!, 3-3,2-3,0-1,3-3
it was always entertaining , so keep the goals coming...

really a bad beat here. game went as predicted, but both teams just coulnt convert once more...some unbelieveable unlucky bounces even on the goal line...anyway.. a loss

i did not have time to really cap saturday s Bundesliga and i dont know if i ll be around before the games start tomorrow.
so for now no plays on Bundesliga, just a couple for regionalliga

Regionalliga Nord

Emden- Wuppertal: under 2.5 @ 1.95

same old story..play the wuppertal unders and win. Emden also one of the lower scoring teams..i keep the trend going here again.

Regioanlliga SÜd:

München- Oggersheim: München -0.5,-1 @1.86

Same story again also here. Oggersheim still not adjusted to lague, even now that they got their first point after 5 games with a last minute 3-3 draw. München is undefeated so far at home and should win here again.

just quickly the picks

1.Bundesliga

Berlin- Wolfsburg: over 2.5 @ 1.78

Both teams going for the win..2-1 type game for which team ever

Cottbus- Nürnberg: under 2.5 @1.90

Cottbus big problems on offense. Nürnberg normally strong on defense (especially in away games) and also struggeling on offense.

Duisburg- Bielefeld: Bielefeld pk,+0.5 @ 1.85

Very even game, but Bielefeld is confident right now and should get chances in counter-attack.

Hannover- Bochum: Bochum +0.5 @1.87

Same story here. very even game, but Bochum off a great start and very dangerous away.

Rostock- DOrtmund: over 2.5 @ 1.87

Both teams desperate for win adn will go for it. Both teams on the board , so hopefully an over.

not a good day yesterday going 2-5, but i like today s card much more.

Sunday:

2. Bundesliga

Gladbach- Osnabrück: Osnabrück +1 @ 1.92

Gladbach coming from 1. Liga is struggeling big time right now, especially on offense. Lots of trouble already in the club and the pressure is on to win today. that s a situation the team did not respond well to in the past. Osnabrück is off a solid start so far and is playing defensively sound. that should make it tough for Gladbach to score. Not 100 % sure if this will end up in a draww, but one full goal is definetely too much to lay for Gladbach against anybody right now.

Fürth- St.Pauli: Fürth -0.5 @ 1.86 !! 2 units!!

Fürth as usually a solid 2.Liga team is off a very good start. They have two wins and a draw against top teams already. St.Pauli is very happy with 2 wins out of 3 games. But they were a bit lucky in these. overall they will play against relegation and they know that. Fürth is the better team and after 2 wins i see a let down for st.Pauli here.

Jena- Mainz: over 2.5 @1.89

I ve seen Jena playing last week at Köln, where they got a demoralizing 3-4 loss after leading 3-1 with 20 min to go.
Their defense looks terrible when put under pressure.
That s also shown in their games so far (they started with a 2-2). On the other hand they were in all matches so far as they are dangerous on offense. The 2-2 at Aachen has shown quality and in home loss to st.pauli they dominated thru whole game.
Mainz plays on and off so far. winning both home games with a total scoring of 8-2 , while loosing away 0-3. plenty of scoring expect here with both teams going for the win.

1. Bundesliga

Hamburg- München: München -0.5 @1.83 !! 2 units!!

Much is said about bayern playing fantastic so far. all new players are klicking. they won all 3 matches so far with 10-0 goals. Now they have some injury trouble, but it turned out to be probably not too bad. Ribery is fit, Klose and Luca Toni are questionable, but will probably play.
Hamburg is a bit different as one of the key-players so far Kompany got red carde last game and also Demel is out suspended.
They won twice to start the season, but are coming off a loss at Bochum.
Nevertheless this is always a big match for them at home vs. München (its the traditional North-south rivalary in Germany). Hamburg usually puts a big fight in it, but if you look at the stats..some how Bayern wins most of the time. Hamburg has only 1 win in last 11 home games vs. München and i see a similar outcome today.
Many see this as the first real test for Bayern and it probably is, but without Demel and Kompany they are still too much for Hamburg.

off to a great start.
Osnabrück lost 1-2 to push, but was unlucky not to get the draw. the big play fürth won 2-1 in last minute, but that was a very lucky win. i ll take it as a good break. makes up for the schalke loss on friday.
The over hit also.

i ll update probably in an hour on the starting team of München and will have another play on the other match, which i am working out right now

adding

Karlsruhe- Stuttgart: Stuttgart -0.5 @1.97

Stuttgart the better team here. i s a derby but still i think karlsruhe is not up for it.

and

big news from hamburg:

Toni will not play, but still enough offensive power with München, but van der Vaart is a late scratch for Hamburg..this is "THE BIG NEWS". its like Manning out for indianapolis in NFL.
I can only recommend to go real big on München now.

The Hamburg game scares me and i have a strange feeling about the game.Kompany and Demel are out, but Bayern is playing without Toni and Klose just got back from an injury. So, if Hamburg shut down ribery i don't see Munich creating the offensive firework like in the last games. Many will be other opinion, but Hamburg at full strenght is this season a top 3 Team and better than Schalke or Werder Bremen. And Stevens is a good coach who knows how to beat Munich. And Munich has lost last 3 games against Hamburg and a lot of public money on Munich is also scary.
I know VdV is out also, but Munich could become big problems today and the game could heat in a completely different direction than most think. Also remember that a lot of players like gerrero, trochowski and Jarolim who played at Munich before are especially motivitated.

But one thing is already impressive: 10000 Munich fans made the long trip to Hamburg.
